Every Friday, studio 4 has a session on “Teach the Teachers”. We have volunteers who share their expertise on a topic chosen exclusively by them. This week we had Xavier who enlightened us on Matariki myth and the reasons for celebrating it. He even made an awesome poster with the 7 stars. Brianna taught us all about how Rocket was first designed and sent to space! Maryam shared a science experiment where she could tip a glass of water without dropping!!! They were AMAZING! Studio 4 teachers and students enjoyed being taught by 3 new ‘teachers’ today. We are looking forward to next weeks ‘ teach the teachers’ session.

Studio 4’s Outdoor Experience

On Thursday 3rd June. Some of our studio 4 students went on a trip up to Auckland water front to look at the maritime museum.  The children went on a boat trip on an old scow into the Waitamata harbour.  They were able to go under the Harbour bridge.  The children saw Sir Peter Blacks ‘Black Magic” Sailing boat.  It was an awesome day.
